Skype Out? Gizmo Out? SightSpeed’s Up!

In addition to the Skype issues that are widely reported, I also seem to be having problems with Gizmo Project. While it seems to work okay from my Nokia N800, on my Mac, I get this mysterious “Failed to register with server, an unknown error occurred” message.

Meanwhile, I decided to check in on SightSpeed. Working like a champ. I had a brief conversation with SightSpeed CEO Peter Csathy about how much traffic he was seeing today. “About double our normal,” he told me. And, as usual, video looked good.
