call forwarding from a skype account to the +99 numbers works; so callers do not need to enter the long +99 numbers if you have the forwarding setup.

Thanks for the mention and yes, we (Voxeo) do support inbound calling via Skype on our Evolution hosted platform. We can’t do *outbound* calling into the Skype cloud as Skype does not (yet, anyway) allow that, but inbound works great. I wrote up a piece about this (in response, amusingly, to Markus’ post he just mentioned) that goes into more detail:

As a network/telephony geek, it was definitely one of the fun things to learn about about when I joined Voxeo six months ago.
