PhoneBoy Speaks Ep 98: Twitter Patents and Business Social Networking

I recorded the intro to this podcast nearly two months ago with the thought I might use it someday–to combine multiple short thoughts into a slightly longer podcast. That day is today.

Aside from my brief intro to the genesis for this idea, which involves the 1982 movie [Night Shift][1], this episode is a combination of two other topics: [Twitter getting a patent on Twitter][2] (along with reiterating their [intent not to use patents offensively][3]), and answering the age old question about how to “safely” do business social networking.
