Atkins Day 39
A little over a month into Atkins and I weigh about 12 pounds less than I did when I started — right at that 240 mark I hit last time. It seems slower than a lot of the “success” stories I’ve read about, but I am not worried. I am continuing to take my vitamin supplements, though I’ve modified what I am taking a little bit.
According to the strips, I am definately still in Ketosis, but I’m not burning large quantities of fat, at least according to the scale. My waist has shrunk a couple of inches, though, and I still feel wonderful. I’m making progress…
The one good thing is that I’ve basically given up caffinated beverages and sugar. I drink decaf green tea with splenda and a tablespoon of cream.
