Black Friday Was Sunny
I had the same “Steely Dan” association that Tom Keating did when I woke up this morning. Almost makes me want to find the CD that has it and rip it into iTunes. But I generally have the same reaction as VoIPGirl did to Black Friday: namely, who cares!
Actually, today was one of the first days in a long time where it wasn’t raining around these parts. And, given the propensity for rain lately, and the fact it was officially “after Thanksgiving,” my wife said “time to put up the Christmas lights.” So I spent most of today going up and down ladder cursing the cold wind, untangling light strands, putting clips on, and so on.
No time for shopping. No desire to fight the crowds. No desire to move, either.
