SIP on Nokia N73 and N93 Not Functional
A while ago, I had tried mucking about with the Nokia N93 to get it to connect to something. Unfortunately, it lacks the ability to set an Internet Telephony profile, which references a SIP profile. From my experience with the SIP stack on Symbian Series 60 Third Edition, SIP calls won’t happen without an Internet Telephony profile. It looks like Luca Filigheddu discovered the same thing.
It is entirely possible this will be addressed in a future firmware update to these phones, though I have no knowledge if that is the case or not.
