Figuring out where a “phone number” really is
The nice thing about VoIP is that you can have a phone number in just about any location you want, no matter where you live. If you care where your phone number is, then you definately want to make sure that phone number is a “local call” to the people that you want to call it.
The following website is probably one of the better sites to use to actually “find” where a phone number is:

Of course, there’s also telcodata, but I’ve found that site to be down occasionally.
