Yes, That’s My Post on GigaOM
Long-time readers will know I’ve written a few posts for Web Worker Daily, one of the GigaOM properties. However, this marks the first time I’ve written something that has appeared on the main GigaOM site! The post is a rather lengthy treatise on whether or not there is money in voice APIs.
Writing for GigaOM is not like, say, writing for Creative Weblogging, where I pretty much can post whatever I want. They might run their front end off wordpress.com, but GigaOM is not a blog. It’s run by proper journalists. J-school rules apply for anything appearing here.
Now that I’ve got an article in the can and I’ve been through the process, I know what Om’s team expects. Hopefully my next piece for them won’t take me so long to get done.
