Crossover Office 4.0 Works On my Gentoo Box
Today, Codeweavers announced the availability of Crossover Office 4.0. The biggest thing was that I was able to get Crossover Office working a bit better on my Gentoo box, though it did involve recompiling a few things with threading.
Now, Office 2000 installs correctly and I can load in the service packs for it. In addition, my CRM application I use for my employer now works more seamlessly, though I still have to manually shoehorn a few things in to get it to install correctly.
Now I can get most of my work done from a single computer, which is a good thing.
