Fighting Comment and Trackback Ping Spam
My site is getting pummeled by folks wanting to do comment and trackback ping spam. A lot of the trackback spam has come from people selling porn. I guess I have to start protecting myself, so I’ve implemented some filters on both comments (which will also still be moderated) and trackback pings (which aren’t moderated for some silly reason). At least now if something looks like spam, it won’t be shown.
