My daughter is getting mobile!
As I mentioned a couple of days ago, my daughter Gracie just turned one year old. This afternoon, it was her and I at home. While my daughter doesn’t walk yet, or even crawl, she is now quite mobile. She has more or less mastered the art of scooting around on her fanny. At times, it almost looks like crawling, but she doesn’t quite get on both knees and manages to stay mostly upright. She is also able to pull herself up on things and “walk” as long as she’s holding onto something (like the wall). As such, she can now make her way across the room fairly quickly. She’s also a wee-bit happier with playing by hersellf now since she can move around on her own somewhat.
Before you know it, she’ll be walking. She’s damn close to it already. Just needs a little more leg strength.
