Asterisk + SPA-3000 x 3 = A path to integration
I have too damn many VoIP lines. But at least they all ring in one place now: my Asterisk server.
Unfortunately, I have a couple of providers that insist on locked adapters. I also have this Qwest PSTN line. But I also have a number of SPA-3000. Using our SPA-3000 Config Wizard for Asterisk and a little bit of mucking about in Asterisk@Home, I now have three SPA-3000s pointing at my Asterisk server, each with a different provider on it. I can make and receive calls from these lines as needed from my Polycom phone.
And yes, everything but my house landline and cell phone is ringing on one phone sitting on my desk. There is a certain amount of joy and order to that…
