Digg: The New Slashdot?
Digg is being hailed by some as “The New Slashdot.” Digg allows anyone to submit stories, much like Slashdot and others. Instead of an editor making a decision about whether a story should be approved, the users decide. I suppose that it’s a bit like K5 in that regard, though Digg’s interface seems to be much simpler than what I remember of K5′s interface.
In any case, I’ll be following Digg for a while and see if they can manage to do better than Slashdot.
