Calera, AL
We’re spending the next few days of our vacation here, which is a suburb south of Birmingham, and about three hours west of Atlanta. Not much here except my wife’s friends and a huge WalMart. </p>
One thing notable about this trip: we have already stayed in four different hotel rooms since Wednesday: one nearer the Atlanta airport, one at Stone Mountain, and two in Calera. The “suite” we wanted was taken last night, so we had to stay in a much smaller room, thus the room change. Four of us just don’t fit in a room that tiny. And yes, when we drive back to Atlanta on Tuesday, we will be in yet another room.
