Worst Windstorm In Years
Things could be interesting for a few days. This morning, a huge windstorm hit Western Washington. Puget Sound Energy estimated that 140,000 people are without power. There are probably more than that since there are several power companies in the state, but my family is among those without power. PSE says on their announcement that we should expect to be without power for several days.
What I find frustrating is that just down the road, power is operational. Central Port Orchard seems to have power, but McCormick Woods and the eastern part of Port Orchard do not. Further south, power seems operational too. In Tacoma, where I am at the moment, there is power.
Oh well, we’ll see what the rest of the day brings…
