How will they address data?
As I am sitting here on an airplane pondering the possibility of actually using my mobile phone while in flight, one question comes to mind: how will data be handled? Will it? What would it cost? Is it going to be outrageously expensive just as we expect voice will be?
Voice on an airplane, while cool, is a non-starter for me. Data in all its forms (SMS, email, etc) will be much more compelling. Done right, I’ll get voice for next to nothing thanks to VoIP.
