Google is Fast, Yahoo is Slow
A couple days ago, I lamented the fact that Google has my site listed incorrectly in their index. As per this picture, you can see my site is now listed correctly:
It may something to do with the fact I run Google AdSense ads on my site, or maybe it doesn’t. Either way, my site is properly updated in Google’s index and it happened much quicker than I expected.
For grins, I also took a look on MSN Search, Ask, Yahoo, and Altavista. All of these sites showed the same information as Google, which is correct. Yahoo had the most inaccurate listing:
That was my listing from several years ago, and I’m quite sure this is how I submitted the information back then. You think they maybe should ask me to update it once in a while, or check the meta tags for the right information?
