The Ultimate Retro Mobile Phone
There’s been jokes about putting a rotary dial on a mobile phone, but someone went out and did it. The folks at Spark Fun Electronics are selling an GSM-enabled old MaBell-stlye Red Telephone! Unfortunately, it’s a European tri-band GSM (which means it doesn’t have GSM 850), but it may still be an interesting way to replace your grandma’s land line with a mobile phone without her even knowing. Well except for the lack of dial tone.
