MacBook Didn’t Make It
As I suspected, my MacBook didn’t make it through the trip to Baltimore. It “shut off” while watching an episode of dl.tv in Apple’s Front Row. You’d think Apple would provide some warning in Front Row when your battery was about to die. Shutting off without warning doesn’t sound “insanely great.”
It might have lasted a little longer if I had set the power management to “maximum battery” before going too far along in the battery process, but probably only a few minutes at best. Maybe I would have been able to finish the show I was watching. Meanwhile, there are podcasts to listen to.
