Lighter Blogging Ahead

This week some family friends are in town. Between that and the fact that we have to leave our house spotless every time we all leave it–selling the house you live in FTW (not)–there hasn’t been a whole lot of time for blogging. It’s also a holiday week of sorts, with the US Independence Day holiday being right smack in the middle of the week. One of the things I do when I leave my house now is take my MacBook and IBM T41 with me. Mostly because I don’t want them “walking away” when someone comes in and looks at the house. I have other laptops sitting out, but there is no useful data on them and they are much older vintage, like this G3 iBook I’m using, and thus not too concerned if they grow legs. Packing and unpacking my two main laptops is such a hassle that I’ve been leaving them packed. Since most of my computing is web-based, using a different computer is not a huge deal. Or I’ve been ignoring the subject entirely and just going to bed early, which isn’t a bad thing.
