Blogging Test From Nokia N810

I am testing my ability to blog from the Nokia N810 using MaemoWordPy. We’ll see how it works and how it looks.

The trick here is typing on the built-in keyboard. I’ve typed on smaller, but it does take a little getting used to. Would certainly do in a pinch.

Oh wow, that picture looks horrible. The light wasn’t good in that room, which probably did not help.

Well, advice of the wise: use the on-screen thumb keyboard, you’ll be amazed. At least I was, got the hang of it in minutes, was rocking during the 2 weeks of trial

I tried the onscreen keyboard on the N810. It lacks tactile feedback, which really bothers me. The buttons ARE bigger than on an iPhone, though. ;)

Hi, I just got an n810 and for some reason I can’t really get the onscreen thumb keyboard to appear. In the Control Panel > Text Input Settings > On-screen tab, I select “Launch finger keyboard with finger tap” but then when I tap in a text box, nothing comes up. If I select “Enable stylus menus” i do get the smaller keyboard though. Any ideas? Thanks alot in advance. Best, Rob

@Rob, I suspect there are some software bugs at play here. I haven’t seen even the little on-screen keyboard on the N810, but then again I haven’t messed with those settings, either.
