As I previously noted, Google’s put a lot of what makes Android Android behind closed source. Apparently, if you want to use those apps and services, you must enter into a Mobile Application Distribution Agreement with Google, which has some pretty onerous requirements that remind me of what Microsoft did with Internet Explorer.
