PhoneBoy Speaks Ep 666: The Division Bell, Part II
I remember when Pink Floyd released The Divison Bell 20 years ago. The remaining members of Pink Floyd, David Gilmour and Nick Mason, went through the old recording of those sessions and reworked them to come up with The Endless River, which will be released in November. According to an interview on BBC Radio 6, the album is meant as a swan song for the band, and to honor bandmember Richard Wright who passed away in 2008.
Estranged bandmember Roger Waters, meanwhile, reminded fans via Facebook that he’s no longer part of Pink Floyd and hasn’t been for nearly 30 years.
