PhoneBoy Speaks Ep 750: Lifeline Internet
There is work underway in the US FCC to extend the “Lifeline” program that has existed for a few decades to include discounted broadband to those living below the poverty line. That’s in addition to Comcast’s “Internet Essentials” program that they don’t advertise and make it difficult to qualify for.
