PhoneBoy Speaks Ep 758: Pole Position
Google is urging the FCC to, if they decide to regulate Internet Service Providers under Title II rules, enforce rules in Section 224 under Title II that would give them mandatory access to certain infrastructure that will allow them to build a competitive wired network. The cable companies don’t want that and, according to the cable industry’s lobbying firm, they already have access to it anyway.
