According to Pew Research Center, 10% of Americans rely solely on their smartphones for access to the Internet. This is not a shock given how expensive cable and DSL Internet typically is. It’s a bit frustrating to me that this stuff still costs as much as it does and that those that can afford it the least are often bumping up against arbitrary and punitive data caps AT&T and Verizon institute.
